Statuspage

Enable your AI agent to check service status, surface active incidents, and share component health directly from your Statuspage by Atlassian.

5 min read

Updated June 2026

Overview

The Statuspage integration connects your AI agent to your Atlassian Statuspage account. Your AI agent can answer status questions in real time, show customers which components are affected during an incident, and let them know about upcoming maintenance windows.

Ideal for teams that want to reduce support volume during outages by giving customers instant, accurate status information without leaving the chat.

Prerequisites

Before setting up the Statuspage integration, you'll need:

  • A Statuspage account (any plan)
  • Admin access to generate API keys
  • Your Statuspage page ID

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Generate an API Key

  1. Log in to Statuspage at manage.statuspage.io
  2. Go to your page settings
  3. Under API, generate a new API key
  4. Copy the key immediately and store it securely
Save Your API Key
The API key is only shown once. Copy it before closing the dialog.

Step 2: Find Your Page ID

  1. In the Statuspage dashboard, open your page
  2. Look at the URL: manage.statuspage.io/pages/abc123
  3. The string after /pages/ is your page ID

Step 3: Enable in ChatSpark

  1. In ChatSpark, go to AI Actions
  2. Find Statuspage in the Library and click Enable
  3. Enter your Page ID and API Key
  4. Click Save

Configuration Fields

Page IDYour Statuspage page identifierabc123def456
API KeyYour Statuspage API keysp_xxxxxxxx

Testing Your Integration

After setup, test the integration by opening your AI agent widget and asking:

  • “Is your service down?”
  • “Are there any known issues?”
  • “Is the API working?”

The AI should respond with live status data pulled directly from your Statuspage.

Troubleshooting

Invalid Page ID

The page ID is found in your Statuspage URL, not the subdomain. Use the string after /pages/ in the dashboard URL.

Unauthorized

Check that the API key belongs to the account that owns the page. Keys from other accounts will not have access to your page's data.

Components not showing

Make sure your components are published on your status page. Draft or hidden components will not appear in API responses.
