Overview

The HappyFox integration connects your AI agent to your HappyFox helpdesk system. Your chatbot can create tickets for customer issues, help customers check their ticket status, and search your knowledge base for solutions.

Great for support teams using HappyFox who want to deflect common inquiries while ensuring complex issues get properly ticketed.

Prerequisites

Before setting up the HappyFox integration, you'll need:

  • A HappyFox Helpdesk account
  • Admin access to generate API credentials
  • Your HappyFox domain

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Get Your API Key

  1. Log in to your HappyFox admin panel
  2. Go to ManageIntegrations
  3. Click API
  4. If API access isn't enabled, enable it
  5. Generate or copy your API Key and Auth Code
API Access
HappyFox API access may require a specific plan tier. Check your HappyFox subscription if you don't see API options.

Step 2: Enable in ChatSpark

  1. In ChatSpark, go to AI Actions
  2. Find HappyFox in the Library and click Enable
  3. Select the chatbot(s) that should have access
  4. Enter your Domain and API Key
  5. Click Save

Testing Your Integration

After setup, test the integration:

  1. Open your chatbot widget
  2. Try asking: “I need help with a problem”
  3. The AI should offer to create a support ticket

Other test queries:

  • “What's the status of my ticket?”
  • “Search help articles for password reset”
  • “Create a support ticket for me”

Troubleshooting

API not enabled

HappyFox API may not be enabled by default. Contact HappyFox support or check your plan to enable API access.

Authentication error

Double-check your API key and domain. The domain should be just the subdomain portion without .happyfox.com.

Rate limiting

HappyFox has API rate limits. If you see rate limit errors, contact HappyFox support to discuss increasing your limits.
