Confluence is where teams document everything — processes, architecture decisions, product guides, HR policies. But searching Confluence is slow, and most employees default to pinging a colleague instead. That interrupts the colleague and still takes minutes to get an answer.
The Confluence integration lets your AI agent search across spaces, retrieve specific pages, and list available spaces. Employees ask a question in chat and get the answer (with a link to the source page) in seconds.
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Search | Full-text search across all accessible Confluence content |
| Get Page | Retrieve the content of a specific Confluence page |
| List Spaces | Show all available Confluence spaces for navigation |
Before connecting Confluence, make sure you have:
| Field | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Domain | Your Atlassian Cloud domain | yourcompany.atlassian.net |
| The email address linked to your Atlassian account | you@company.com | |
| API Token | Your Atlassian API token | ATATT3xFfGF0... |
After setup, open your chatbot widget and try these realistic queries:
More test phrases:
Confluence uses basic auth with your email and API token. Verify both are correct and that the token hasn't been revoked in your Atlassian settings.
Confluence search is scoped to your account's permissions. If you can't find a page, make sure your Atlassian account has read access to the relevant space.
Enter just the domain (e.g., yourcompany.atlassian.net), not the full URL with https:// or a path suffix.
