Account Settings

Manage your profile, password, subscription plan, payment methods, and billing history from one place.

Overview

ChatSpark consolidates all account and billing management into a single Settings page with two tabs:

  • Account tab: Update your profile information and change your password
  • Billing tab: View your plan, manage payment methods, and review payment history

To open Settings, click your name or avatar in the bottom-left corner of the dashboard and select Settings.

Account Tab

The Account tab is divided into two sections: your profile and your password.

Updating Your Profile

Your profile stores the name and address associated with your ChatSpark account.

  1. Go to Settings from the user menu
  2. You will land on the Account tab by default
  3. Update your Name, Street Address, Zip Code, Country, State, or City
  4. Click Save Changes
Note
Your email address is tied to your login and cannot be changed from this page. Contact support if you need to update it.

Changing Your Password

You can update your password at any time from the Security section on the Account tab.

  1. Go to Settings and open the Account tab
  2. Scroll down to the Security section
  3. Enter your Current Password
  4. Enter and confirm your New Password
  5. Click Save Password
Password Requirements
Your new password must be at least 8 characters and contain at least one number or symbol. It cannot contain your email address or name.

Billing Tab

Account Owners Only
The Billing tab is only visible to the account owner. Team members do not have access to subscription or payment information.

Subscriptions

The Subscriptions section shows all active and cancelled plans on your account.

  • Active plans show the plan name, billing interval, next renewal date, and current status
  • Cancelled plans remain visible at the bottom of the list until they expire

To upgrade or add a new plan, click Upgrade Plan at the top right of the Subscriptions section.

To cancel a plan, click Cancel on the subscription card and follow the prompts.

Payment Methods

The Payment Methods section shows all saved cards on your account.

  • Your default payment method is used for all future renewals
  • You can add multiple cards and set any of them as the default
  • Cards can be edited or deleted, as long as at least one card remains on file

To add a new card, click Add New Card at the top right of the Payment Methods section and complete the secure form.

Payment History

Payment History shows a paginated table of all past charges on your account. Each row includes the date, amount, plan name, and payment status.

Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication is managed from Team & Security in the sidebar, not from Settings. See the Team & Security documentation for setup instructions.
